K-2 Weekly Update
by posted 09/17/2019

Dear parents,

Another Amazing weekend of soccer from everyone! It is great to start seeing the players perform some of the tasks that we are working on during practices while having fun in their games. Last week, we worked on changes of direction with the ball and we were able to see players doing this successfully during the games. IT IS AMAZING TO SEE THIS!

During the past couple of weeks, we’ve mainly focused on dribbling and changes of direction while keeping their head up and finding space on the field. By now, the players are familiar with key soccer terms, such as, “Dribble into space”, Get into a “diamond shape” which will help them create space on the pitch with and without the ball.

We look forward to seeing everyone at practices this to keep learning and having fun.

See you on the fields!

Dear parents,

Smiles, goals and celebrations highlighted our first game day of the season.

We hope everyone enjoyed their first game of the Fall season. We couldn’t have asked for a better day to kick off the season! We are thrilled to see so many families enjoying the beautiful game and supporting the players!

At this point, every player should have a DSA pinnie for games & practices. Please remember to have your child wear their pinnie to practices and games!

Each week, we have a specific topic to focus on during practices and for this week we will continue to focus on dribbling and changes of direction.

We look forward to seeing everyone at practices this week. See you on the fields!
